The Baylor men's basketball team has been racking up the awards lately. It started with the Big 12 coaches selection of Aaron Bruce as honorable mention All Big 12 and Curtis Jerrells as part of the All Big 12 freshman team, and has now led to even bigger awards.
The Baylor Bears are on a roll and the rest of the Big 12 is perhaps quietly thanking the NCAA. Baylor won their 2nd straight and 4th out of their last 5 home games when it defeated Texas Tech in Waco 78-66. Who knows how dangerous these Bears could have been early in the Big 12 season had they had a non-conference season.
The Ferrell Center in Waco, TX has become a very unfriendly place for visitors over the course of this season, and the Baylor Bears look to continue the trend at 7:00 CST Wednesday night against Texas Tech.
