As a junior, Cody Dowd led the state of Arizona in tackles in the regular season with 163. He played one playoff game and ended up second in the state after the playoffs with 172. The player that finished first played two playoff games. Dowd also added four interceptions (one returned 45 yards for a TD), two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. Colorado is one of his early favorites.
