Moody Just Concerned with Winning

Growing up in Texas, Emmanuel Moody wasn't ever emerged in the Florida-Florida State rivalry. When he signed with Southern Cal out of high school, he never imagined playing in it. However, transferring to Florida put him right in the center of the rivalry in 2008. He now sees the importance of every rivalry to the Florida fan base.

Moody Healthy and Going Hard

The Florida offense seemed to open things up last weekend and at the same time, the inside running game took off. Emmanuel Moody is a big part of that running game and ran for 58 yards on 10 carries on the day. He looked strong and powerful running through tackles, even though he was slightly injured. Moody says this week he is as good as ever and liked the feeling of running well last week.

Co-Starter Moody Excited to be Healthy

Unless you have done it (and I haven't), it is very hard to understand the amount of punishment a running back goes through when they play the game of college football. Florida senior Emmanuel Moody understands all too well, but for the first time in a long time he is feeling rather healthy. Moody is excited for a season that will bring new opportunities and staying healthy is the key.

Moody is Focused, Not Fretting

Another day and another injury for Emmanuel Moody, but the senior running back for the Florida Gators has a whole new outlook on things. Moody may have spent more time injured than healthy since he arrived at Florida a couple of years ago via transfer from USC, but all he can do is prepare and play. That is his new attitude and it allows him to look forward to a big senior season.

Spring Evaluation: Running Back Shined

The Florida Gators have to replace a lot of talent from a 2009 squad that finished third in the country. One spot they don't have to replenish is at running back as the Gators return everyone and will add a freshman into the mix in June. This spring was really all about one guy. Sophomore Mike Gillislee was a workman and needed the time to get to know the offense. He did just that.

Moody Ready for his Chance

Running backs Chris Rainey and Jeff Demps has taken most of the carries for the Florida Gators over the last two seasons, but it will be Emmanuel Moody getting most of the hand offs this spring. Rainey is practicing with the wide receivers and Demps is concentrating on the track and field season. With them elsewhere, Moody is the top running back for the Gators.

Five Players to Watch on Offense

Wednesday will mark not only the pro scout day for the Gators looking to start earning money professionally. It will also mark the start of one of the more intriguing spring practices in recent years. Florida lost a ton of talent off the 2009 team which finished third nationally and posted the Gators' third 13-win season in four years.
