Notes, Stats From August 9 Marshall Workout

Marshall put the first day of pads under its belts with some good hitting and no major injuries. While the coaches are trying to strike a balance between needed hitting and not hitting to injury, the highlight of Saturday's practice was a crack-back block by receiver Bryant Milligan that sprung Darius Passmore for a touchdown during team. Terrell Edwards continued to run well, like he did spring.

Down to three for Graham

One of the most physically imposing tight ends in the California JUCO ranks this past season was College of the Sequoias TE Maurice Graham (6-5, 285). He arrived on campus weighing 305 and has worked hard to get his weight down and, after two solid seasons at COS he's ready to choose between three programs who all have offered and want him in the worst way.

Yet for tight end Maurice Graham, who started his official visit circuit with Arizona State, it was pretty easy to take pleasure in all that the venture to Sun Devil country had to offer. JC Tight End to Visit Sun Devils

College of the Sequoias tight end Maurice Graham played in only six games in 2007. Nonetheless, it hasn't stopped many schools from offering him a scholarship. The mid-year transfer will start a hectic schedule of visits in the month of December, with Tempe being his first destination. Could it be his ultimate destination? Devils Digest sat down and talked to Graham about his recruitment by ASU.
