The Arizona Diamondbacks have acquired left-handed pitcher Mike Zagurski from the Philadelphia Phillies for a player to be named later and designated right-handed pitcher Esmerling Vasquez for assignment. Because he was not on the 25-man roster on August 31, Zagurski wil not be eligible to pitch in the postseason unless he replaces an injured player.
