Two Vanderbilt commits, Broome receiver D.J. Moore and Byrnes receiver Matt Quinn, accounted for both touchdown grabs and 10 of South Carolina's 19 catches. VandyMania has obtained exclusive video of several of the catches.

When looking at the commitment list of players participating in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas, leading the colleges with commitments are North Carolina (8) and Clemson (3). However, the team third on the list appears to be ready to make in-roads in the state of South Carolina. With three players committed, Vanderbilt is pushing into the state of South Carolina hard.

Matt Quinn, a 6-6 wide receiver from James F Byrnes in Duncan, S.C. has decided to be a Vanderbilt Commodore. Quinn is the thirteenth commit for the Vanderbilt staff.
