Barmes happy to be back with Bucs

Clint Barmes started at shortstop August 26 for the Pirates, one day after being reinstated from the disabled list for a severe groin strain. Rest and slow rehab allowed him to get in the batting cages, throw, and begin a rehab assignment Aug. 14. He started with Class AA Altoona, then worked his way up to Class AAA Indianapolis.
