O'Fallon High senior running back Duane Bennett, who recently committed to Minnesota, is having an outstanding season. Bennett became the school's all-time leading rusher earlier this season and has rushed for 1,180 yards on 173 carries with 20 touchdowns this season. He also became the team's all-time leader in touchdowns.

Willie Dyson, a 6-foot-3 freshman defensive end from Ballwin (MO) Kirkwood, ranked as the 39th-best overall defensive end in the nation by Scout.com last year. Willie Dyson, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound defennsive end from Kirkwood (MO) High, told GoldenSports.Net that he will commit to Minnesota on Sunday at 10:00 AM during a meeting with Gopher head coach Glen Mason. Dyson attended the Minnesota-Ohio State game yesterday and made his official visit to the Minnesota campus two weeks ago for the Gopher-Wisconsin game.
