With the conclusion of the regular season in college football this past weekend, now is the time in which most first-year players historically begin to "hit the rookie wall" in the NFL. That doesn't appear to be happening for the Seahawks' standout youngsters, however.

It was billed as a possible playoff preview. Someone forgot to tell the Vikings, however, as the Seahawks dominated from the outset, generating 433 total yards (against 125 for Minnesota) and holding the NFL's leading rusher, Adrian Peterson to just 18 yards -- his lowest total in nearly two years.

Marshawn Lynch was a full participant in Thursday's practice, an indication that Seattle's All-Pro running back will, indeed, be back starting (and starring?) Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for fellow All-Pro Bobby Wagner.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll expressed frustration and disappointment Monday about the team's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals but provided reason for optimism, as well, citing the improving health of Marshawn Lynch and the stabilization of the offensive line.

The undefeated Cincinnati Bengals are "a great challenge for our guys," Pete Carroll said Wednesday during his post-practice press conference. He also provided injury updates for Marshawn Lynch, Brandon Mebane and others, a huge pat on the back to rookie Tyler Lockett and why he isn't as worried about the offensive line as Seahawks fans may be.
