Padres make four more roster moves

San Diego, CA – The San Diego Padres announced today that the club has placed catcher Michael Barrett on the 15-day disabled list with concussion-like symptoms and recalled right-handed pitcher Mike Thompson from Triple-A Portland. The club has also purchased the contract of catcher Pete Laforest from Portland and optioned right-hander Jack Cassel to the Beavers.

Mike Thompson helped his own cause and Pete Laforest went deep yet again. Cesar Ramos pitched a complete game shutout while Nick Hundley appears to be heating up.
