Hard work lands Mabin with Baltimore

Former Northwestern cornerback Jordan Mabin saw his collegiate career come to a disappointing end with a an injury. Mabin worked through rehabilitation, then was able to earn a spot on the Ravens. He hopes hard work helps him stick in Baltimore.

Just nine days prior to Northwestern's first game, Dan Persa is still limping. The Wildcats went 0-3 without Persa in 2010 and NU fans are having nightmares about life without their Heisman candidate quarterback this season. Nobody has seen more of the senior quarterback in camp than Jordan Mabin, who is trying to defend Persa's passes. Thus far, Mabin isn't too concerned about Persa's limp.
