The Vanderbilt staff hopes to see great improvement from their wide receivers this season. In 2009 the receivers struggled throughout the season and finished with a poor 146.3 yards per game passing average; one of the worst in the nation.

Turner Wimberly (6-2, 195, Princeton, N.J.) committed to Vanderbilt on Thursday. On Friday Wimberly called Scout.com to talk about his decision and where he hopes to be utilized with the Commodores.

The Vanderbilt staff picked up its 17th commit on Thursday when quarterback/safety Turner Wimberly committed to be a Commodore. Wimberly attended The Hun School in Princeton, New Jersey for a year after graduating from Westlake High School in Austin, Texas.
