James Poe verbally committed to Louisville two years ago. But the 6-foot-3, 225 pound running back never signed with Bobby Petrino's Cardinals because of academic problems and ended up at Georgia Military College. Apparently, though, new Louisville coach Steve Kragthorpe is interested in Petrino's old recruit.

James Poe, a three-star linebacker/running back from Orlando, FL., verbally committed to the University of Louisville Tuesday night. Poe, who rushed for 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, talked to Inside The Ville about why he chose the Cardinals over Nebraska and a host of other big-time programs.

Talk about a multi-dimensional player. James Poe has been told by Nebraska that he could come in and play running back, wide receiver, safety or linebacker possibly at Nebraska. The standout from Orlando (Flor.) Freedom High School said that a decision could be coming soon.
