Eagles claim defensive end Monte Taylor

The Philadelphia Eagles were awarded defensive end Monte Taylor off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks. Taylor was signed by the Seahawks after going undrafted out of the University of Cincinnati. The other former Bearcats on the Eagles' roster: tight end Brent Celek, defensive end Trent Cole, wide receiver Mardy Gilyard and center Jason Kelce.

Taylor is a physical specimen

We saw a number of outstanding athletes at the JCFootball.com combine this past weekend, but one of the most physically imposing was El Camino WR/ATH Monte' Taylor (6-5, 250). He played at L.A. Southwest last year, but he hopes hopes he's found a home at El Camino and he's already shown how much of a weapon he can be during their spring practices.
