Rangers active in Triple-A phase

Dodgers Lose Hoffmann, Tomlin in Rule V Draft

Los Angeles lost two outfielders, Jamie Hoffmann and James Tomlin, in the Rule V Draft in the Winter Meetings in Indianapolis and picked up a pair of pitchers in the bargain, RHP Carlos Monasterios from Philadelphia by way of the Mets and RHP Raul Burgos from San Francisco.

Albuquerque Clinches PCL Division Title

Carlos Alvarado pitched and batted Albuquerque to 8-4 win over Memphis and they joined Great Lakes and Ogden in post season action. Chattanooga topped Jacksonville 2-1 and is a game behind in the battle for the second-half division title. Inland Empire's hopes took a hit with a 3-1 loss to High Desert. Great Lakes won their fourth consecutive game 4-2 over South Bend and Ogden held off Casper 7-5.

Lookouts Win on Tomlin's Double in Ninth

Albuquerque outscored Portland 12-7. Chattanooga used James Tomlin's walkoff double in the ninth to drop Jacksonville 3-2. Inland Empire lost 5-3 to Rancho Cucamonga on two ninth-inning runs. Great Lakes used four home runs to smother Dayton 10-1.

Albuquerque Loses 8-5 in 15 innings

Albuquerque fans, who came out in big numbers again to see Manny Ramirez, also saw the second longest game in team history, a 15-inning, 8-5 loss to Nashville. Chattanooga fought off a late Huntsville rally to take an 8-5 decision. Ogden lost a pitcher's duel 4-1 the ninth inning. The Dominican League Dodgers lost 4-3 to the Mets. Inland Empire, Great Lakes and the Arizona Dodgers had the day off.
