Tyler Moeller, the player who mans Ohio State's hybrid linebacker/safety Star position, is back for a sixth collegiate season and looking for a successful end to his time in Scarlet and Gray. Now a veteran, the 6-0, 210-pound Moeller is grateful to be back on the field once again.

Tyler Moeller showed how important he can be to the Ohio State defense in the first four games of 2010 only to suffer a season-ending injury for the second year in a row. Now finishing off his rehab from the torn chest muscle suffered at Illinois, Moeller said he's on the right path to be ready come August and is looking forward to his last season in scarlet and gray.

Jim Tressel surprised Tyler Moeller and his teammates after practice Wednesday when he announced the senior defensive back has been granted a sixth year of eligibility. The Cincinnati native applied for and was granted a medical hardship after he was forced to miss half of this season and all of 2009 with separate health issues.
