Rockies sign Wood, add two LHP to 40-man

With MLB's Rule 5 Draft taking place this weekend, Friday was the day for teams to get their 40-man rosters in line. The Rockies added left-handed pitchers Christian Friedrich, a 1st round pick in 2008, and Edwar Cabrera, signed out of the Dominican Republic in '08, to the 40-man roster.
