Bostick Taking a Different Angle

BINGHAMTON, NY - In the 2006 deal that sent Matt Lindstrom and Henry Owens to Florida, the Mets received two key left-handed pitchers. The first, Jason Vargas was a part of the team's deal over the summer in which they acquired J.J. Putz, Sean Green and Jeremy Reed. The other, Adam Bostick is making his presence felt in Binghamton.

Bostick Ready for Success

The 25-year-old left-hander struggled during his first trip through Triple-A in 2007, but returned to New Orleans with an improved game thanks to close work with his pitching coach. He hopes those adjustments will lead him to success at the front of the Zephyrs' rotation.
