Jack Cassel and Tim Stauffer combined to give up nine runs in a loss. Jon Ellis was pegged for six runs by his lonesome, blowing a lead for San Antonio. Matt Bush got his first hit, drove in two, but he also committed two errors – the last one costing the game. Derek McDaid had a solid debut for the Wizards.
