D-backs Add Four as Rosters Expand

With the September roster expansion, the Arizona Diamondbacks have recalled infielders Tony Abreu and Brandon Allen and right-handed pitcher Carlos Rosa from Triple-A Reno and reinstated right-handed pitcher Leo Rosales from the 60-day disabled list. The Scottsdale Scorpions stung the Mesa Solar Sox by a score of 11-1 on Thursday, and the Arizona Diamondbacks' contingent in the lineup was responsible for a large portion of the Scorpions' offense. Pedro Ciriaco, Cole Gillespie, and Brandon Allen combined to go 8-for-15 against Mesa pitchers in the win.
