RILEY: Reese may redshirt

DAY 18: Adeniji continues to reel 'em in

CORVALLIS -- After a day indoors, the Oregon State football squad headed back out to Reser Stadium for practice exactly one week before they face off against Portland State next Saturday. Among the notable performances, the play of senior wideout Damola Adeniji. With Darrell Catchings out, Adeniji continued on Saturday to show why he's of starting caliber.

CORVALLIS -- In the second team session, true frosh offensive tackle Michael Philipp showed some great quicks off the line and offered a nice pull. And that opened up a big hole for sophomore running back Jacquizz Rodgers to burst through. A look into the present and the future, it seemed, all in one. And there was more pad crackin' to come.

DAY 7 PM: Philipp rising, Catchings done

CORVALLIS -- There was a heavy dose of two freshmen on Monday night, with WR Markus Wheaton and OT Michael Philipp front and center. The Beavers went through three team 11-on-11 sessions, there's a special teams report, a spectacular play of the day highlighted the evening helmets and shoulder pads only session plus much more. Unfortunately, also included is news of a Beaver WR done for the year.
