Jeremy Lin Was Not Unknown To NBA Scouts

There has been plenty of buzz around Jeremy Lin, who has averaged 25 points and 9.2 rebounds in his past nine games as he has helped lead the Knicks to a 8-1 mark. Lin was not a player that NBA teams did not know about before his recent breakthrough. He played at Harvard and participated in the Portsmouth Invitational, a pre-draft camp held for 64 of the country's top seniors.

Jerome Randle of California was named Portsmouth Invitational MVP as he highlighted the 12-man All-Tournament team, despite his Roger Brown's squad losing in the title game. Rider's Ryan Thompson was the P.I.T.'s leading scorer with 24.0 points per game with a tournament-high 37 points. Northern Iowa's Jordan Eglseder had a camp-best 30 rebounds.
