The Florida Gators had their world implode on them in the Arlington, Texas regional final game of the NCAA tournament. A horrid 0-13 start to Michigan saw the Wolverines lead grow to 24. Florida cut the lead to 11, but that was it for the Gators who would lose their third Elite-8 game in the last three years. The Southeastern Conference tournament enjoyed on a sour note for Florida by losing in the championship game, but there were still positives that came from the weekend in Nashville. Senior guard Kenny Boynton started to regain his stroke from the outside after dealing with inconsistency throughout the year. That's the best news Florida could've had before starting the NCAA Tournament.

Kenny Boynton and the Gators needed this. The senior guard's shot has been inconsistent throughout his final year at Florida, and it looked like that trend was going to continue on Saturday -- until the second half. Boynton was held scoreless in the first half and scored all of his team-high 16 points in the second half, pushing Florida into the SEC Tournament final with a 61-51 win over Alabama.
