Scout.com All-Service Academy: Defense

Scout.com continues with its third annual All-Service Academy Football Team with selections for Defense, Specialists, and Break-Out Players. The panel who came up with the team totally whiffed on picking a kicker, instead deciding to name all three to the first-team. They each had a good season, with more highs than lows. Hey, even the kickers deserve some love.

Scout.com continues with its third annual All-Service Academy Pre-Season Football Team with selections for Defense, Specialists, MVPs, and Break-Out Players. Overall, Navy had 15 selections (12 First Team, 3 Honorable Mentions); Air Force had 13 selections (9 FT, 4 HM) and Army had 8 selections (4 FT, 4 HM). Monday Army Football Ramblings

Army continues to work hard getting it's new option offense installed. Head coach Rich Ellerson recently stated that most of the offense and defense has been installed. They still have work to do but things are coming together.

Up from the Ashes for Army

Army Opens Preseason Drills

Army coach Stan Brock was nowhere to be found during the first half of the Black Knights' first preseason practice on Friday. However, then Brock rolled up on a golf cart. Brock's delay was due to the fact that he was three days removed from having prostate cancer surgery. Just 24 hours earlier, he was released from the hospital.
