Adam Bass and Joe Thatcher have a rough night. Will Inman is hit hard while Beamer Weems has a first. Even Scribner has been nasty since joining Lake Elsinore. Jeremy Hefner is outstanding again and bullpen completes the shutout. Kyle Heyne is blown up in a tough loss. The AZL Padres are hammered 16-5. Eduardo Lopez nets the game-winner in the ninth.

Cesar Ramos pitches a gem but Carlos Guevara suffers the loss. Drew Macias nets four hits but the Missions lose in 13. Jesus Lopez homers and drives in three for the Storm. Jeremy McBryde is very good; Aaron Breit is not. Geoff Vandel is on point and Blake Tekotte provides the pop. Jose DePaula is coming around – as is Edinson Rincon. Erick Ojeda has pitched well all year.

Chad Reineke has a solid debut but it goes for naught. Mike Ekstrom has become a force out of the pen. Kellen Kulbacki homers again in a win. Jeremy Hefner gets a lot of support from Zachary Brown and Andrew Parrino. Geoff Vandel is impressive; Tom Davis is not. Junior Veras gets hit early but John Hudgins takes the loss.

Manny Ayala pitches well but Greg Burke drops the game. Chris Young is back on the hill and Barry Gunther debuts. Jeremy McBryde takes his seventh loss of the year. Geoff Vandel is chased early in an Eugene loss. Steve Goins and Matt Means are pummeled in the AZL. Juan Chavez and Juan Oramas pitch well, earning a DSL Padres split in the last two days.

Paul McAnulty has reached base eight times in two games in the PCL. Four errors in San Antonio lead to a loss. Cesar Carrillo and Derek McDaid are lit up for 14 runs between them. Six errors amount to Fort Wayne being thrashed. Geoff Vandel and Robbie Blauer help Eugene snap an eight-game skid. Deiber Sanchez has not allowed a hit this year and Miguel Tiburcio goes yard.
