CHAPEL HILL, N.C. --- North Carolina sophomore offensive lineman Mike Dykes will receive a career-ending medical hardship, a UNC official confirmed to Inside Carolina on Thursday morning.
Before arriving at North Carolina, Mike Dykes will play one final high school game – Pennsylvania's East-West All-Star Game.
It was Butch Davis's vision that solidified Mike Dykes as a UNC football signee this morning. The 6-foot-4 265-pound offensive guard from Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills pointed to his new head coach's in-home visit as the pivotal moment in his recruitment.
