At some point Arizona football recruiting needs to slow down. The team has 19 public commitments, with six coming since Sunday. Wait, make that seven. While many are basking in the afterglow of the Louis Holmes/A.J. Simmons verbals, the Wildcat coaching staff was out getting yet another player to join the fold.

Colorado is always looking to add more defensive lineman because quality depth is so important at the position. Especially when it gets into the late third quarter and fourth quarter of a game under the flatirons and fresh bodies are needed to rush the opponent's quarterback. CU has offered Moreno Valley, California big athlete D'Aundre Reed and he'll be in Boulder visiting this weekend. Reed is currently favoring the Buffs.
D'Aundre Reed is a player that impressed the UA staff over the summer when he made the journey to Tucson for a passing tournament. It appears the UA coaches just wanted to see a few games of his senior year before tendering an offer. They must have liked what they saw as they just recently offered Reed. He plans on using one of his official visits to Arizona.
