15 Beavs chase after NFL dreams

FIFTEEN BEAVERS WERE in attendance at Oregon State's pro day event this past Friday. Three of the group had attended the NFL combine and thus mostly participated in specialty drills. That allowed the remaining dozen who didn't get a combine invitation to show their stuff.

Vaz handed the reins of OSU offense

CORVALLIS – Mike Riley made if official on Saturday, junior QB Cody Vaz will start against Texas on Dec. 29. The Beavers offense was on a roll Saturday afternoon – was it due to the final decision to slate Vaz as No.1? PRACTICE REPORT: Beaver O and D rising

CORVALLIS – The latest word is Saturday's game with Nicholls State is still on – good news for a Beaver team that was wired in on the practice field. Sharp plays from the offense in the red zone and solid play by the Beaver d-line and linebackers were among the highlights as the 1's continued to work on likely game scenarios. OSU's head man also talked a little about what he expects come Saturday.

PRACTICE: OSU could be 2 starters down

CORVALLIS-Good and bad news for the Beavs, as they wrapped up the final week of fall camp in Reser Stadium. There's the potential loss of two projected starters – at least for the home opener against Nicholls State next Saturday. DAY 12: Banker, Perry, Bray all weigh in

CORVALLIS -- Mike Riley was absent on Day 12 of the Beavers fall camp – Mark Banker called the shots and at session's end, there were water balloons involved.
