Petersen: UW Will Be Ready On Short Notice

Chris Petersen isn't thrilled about a short week after a Saturday night game, but that doesn't mean the Washington Head Coach didn't see it coming. Petersen confirmed Monday that they've been planning for this week for a long time and expects his No. 9 Huskies to be ready to go Friday when they host the No. 7 Stanford Cardinal Friday night.

Petersen Proud of Huskies' Resolve

It wasn't easy, and Chris Petersen wasn't expecting it to be. But he also knows there were a lot of unforced errors in Washington's sloppy 35-28 overtime win at Arizona that have to get cleaned up quickly before the Huskies host Stanford this coming Friday. But in the end, Petersen was thrilled with how his players rose to the challenge and dealt with the adversity.
