All this end-of-career interviewing has Aaron Feld amused. And, maybe, a tiny bit worried. He's a deep snapper, after all, and having reporters around is not just rare but rarely a good thing. "I've never wanted attention," Feld shrugs. "They say it takes a true fan to know who the snapper is, and if you ever get mentioned on TV it's a bad thing!"

Mississippi State's football team will be an experienced team going into the 2008 season. And two of the most experienced members of the squad will be special teams members Adam Carlson, the starting kicker, and Blake McAdams, the starting punter. Dealing with a sophomore slump last season, Blake McAdams never lost his faith in his punting abilities. After all, McAdams had proven himself in high school and in his first college season, the Ripley, Tenn., native earned SEC All-Freshmen honors.
