Stanford two years running has signed a recruit from famed Oaks Christian School. The reigning state champions had a star-studded senior class that dominated the headlines, but the juniors are not to be overlooked. 6'2" wide receiver Chris Owusu is now starting to earn notice, picking up five offers in the past week. One came from Stanford, well-timed before his visit this weekend for Junior Day.

If they had their choice, many of today's 19 Stanford signees would have inked their National Letter of Intent long ago. Today marked the first day of the signing period. Specifically, a recruit could sign and fax his LOI at 7am local time, which meant the Stanford Football fax machines saw action at 4am when East Coast commits started. Who was first?
