Ted Lilly made a rehab start for Iowa as he recovers from off-season shoulder surgery and back pain. Top Cubs pitching prospect Andrew Cashner turned in what may be the best outing of his 14 career Double-A starts. Daytona's Chris Huseby had his worst outing since moving to the bullpen following the 2008 season. Hak-Ju Lee picked up his second two-hit game in three starts for Peoria.

NEW ORLEANS — What a difference between one season to the next for Class AAA Iowa catcher Chris Robinson. The Cubs catching prospect has gone from playing sporadically at Class AA Tennessee to being a Pacific Coast League All-Star, batting .315 with 32 RBI in 59 games at Iowa this season.

DES MOINES – Iowa Cubs catcher Chris Robinson has been swinging a hot bat all season, which is exactly what he needed coming into 2009. "I'm sure this is probably the best start he's ever had in his career," Iowa manager Bobby Dickerson said of Robinson. "It's opening doors for him, and after the year he had (in 2008), I'm sure he knows his career was definitely at a turning point."
