When El Paso, Tx., guard Cliff Tucker arrived last week for the Capital Classic in College Park, it was like a trip home. Most of his family lives here, and he doesn't often get to make the nearly 2,000-mile trip. But Friday, Tucker assured himself an extended stay back in the area, signing a Letter of Intent to play for Maryland, becoming the fifth and final recruit in the 2007 class.

There's been no shortage of speculation about how Maryland basketball staff will finish its recruiting class. One of the players most commonly mentioned in connection with the Terps is El Paso, Tex., swingman Cliff Tucker, who has long been a heavy Terps ‘lean.' There's no more dancing around the issue at this point, the state of Texas has become a problem. Known for it's ridiculous football talent and just as ridiculous facilities, the world has finally come to grips with the fact that Texas is just as loaded when it comes to basketball talent. Texas? Yep, and it's something that the basketball community should just enjoy.
