If there were any Stanford fans sad to see Kellen Kiilsgaard leave the offensive side of the ball before starting his first practice on The Farm, then Wednesday brought welcome news. The 6'2" freshman was moved from safety back to the offense, though not at quarterback. Read on to see which positions Kiilsgaard played Wednesday and how/why the surprise move came about.

We got our bearings on Day One. On Day Two our eyes were better focused, and our ears attuned, for the movements and news of Stanford Football. We present a blowout of information running up and down the roster including: the early three-deep offensive line depth chart, more freshmen making waves, a new injury, several players cleared to return, body changes, kicking, punt returns and much more!

Tonight a new class of freshmen will suit up for their first ever Stanford Football practice. Some position switches may soon be in store once the coaching staff evaluates the new talents, but one big move has already taken place. Kellen Kiilsgaard, a four-star quarterback signee coveted up and down the Pac-10, told Jim Harbaugh late last month that he will make a move and help Stanford at safety.
