Breaking News: Hawk Visits Borders at School

CU Head Coach Dan Hawkins went by Bryan Station High School in Lexington, Kentucky today to attempt to secure the commitment of CU offensive tackle prospect, Quintin Borders. The lineman was contemplating a visit to Texas this weekend and Kansas State was also making a late run. Right after Coach Hawkins left the school, Kansas State came by with a scholarship offer putting the full court press on the CU commit.

Borders Talks About Colorado Commitment

Every year there are quality players that slip through the cracks for whatever reason. That description fits new Colorado commitment, Quintin Borders, perfectly. Borders is from a school that had a bad season and the head coach got fired. He did not receive adequate exposure until recently. New Bryan Station Head Coach, Oliver Lucas, told the CU staff and other schools about Borders. The offensive tackle committed to CU over the weekend, but the Texas Longhorns are coming in hard.
