Ranking players is an inexact science. No formula is foolproof. It is interesting to look back to see how things worked out for the highly coveted and the diamonds in the rough. The careers or more to the point of lack of careers some of the Magnolia State's blue chippers makes for some interesting conversation.

Ole Miss Defensive Coordinator John Thompson was not pleased with what he saw during the second half of the NW State game. Why would he be? The Rebs gave up 31 points in 30 minutes. Good time for an open week for the Rebels to regroup.

Ole Miss freshman Chris Strong has not given up on his dream of playing linebacker on the college level, but for now, he's a defensive tackle and he's happy with the move and his progress.
