Cougs eye California trio

FOUR PAC-10 SIGNEES have come out Laguna Creek High in Elk Grove, Calif., the past three years. The Sacramento-area high school could conceivably match that total during the current recruiting cycle alone with a quartet of seniors-to-be with D-I potential. Three of the Cardinals -- Bryan Hilliard, Bryson Littlejohn and L.T. Thomas -- have caught the interest of Washington State.

Workhorse on OSU radar

ONE OF THE California hot spots for college recruiters this year will be Elk Grove's Laguna Creek High. The Sacramento area school is home to four prospects attracting heightened interest from Oregon State, the Pac-10 and beyond. Among them is Bryan Hilliard, a physical, workhorse of a running back who knows how to get the tough yards.
