Red Raiders Land Big Committment

Texas Tech is always looking outside the state of Texas for great talent to bring into Lubbock. The Red Raider coaching staff found a gem out in Hawaii. LB/DE Sam Fehoko visited Lubbock last weekend and hosted Mike Leach and Co. in his home yesterday evening. RaiderPower caught up with Sam this afternoon and he informed us that he "wanted to be a Red Raider."

Sam-Earl Fehoko, the three-star linebacker from Farrington High School in Honolulu (Hawaii), has narrowed his choices to San Diego State and Texas Tech. He received an in-home visit from Red Raiders head coach Mike Leach last night.

Another Switch

"I will visit Arkansas on Jan. 19," said Hawaiian linebacker Sam-Earl Fehoko. "They have one of the best football programs in the nation. They are a big-time team in the SEC. Aztecs Still On Target

Defensive end Sam-Earl Fehoko will be visiting San Diego State on December 15 and says the Aztecs are recruiting him the hardest. "I talk to all the coaches," Fehoko said. "Every coach on the staff calls me and they really want me. They said I'd fit in well at defensive end and that they'd need me to rush the outside."
