STILLWATER – Maybe, just maybe, Barry Gebhart knows what he's talking about. The head basketball coach at Fayetteville (Ark.) High School told Oklahoma State's Sean Sutton a year ago that when James Anderson arrived on campus he was getting one special player. And, even though the freshman has yet to play a real game, he's already shown that Gebhart knew of which he was speaking.

Saturday night, Kansas fans saw their beloved Jayhawks season end a little bit earlier than they'd hoped to as they suffered an Elite 8 loss at the hands of UCLA. Sunday, a future Jayhawk Cole Aldrich was getting his feet wet during the 2007 McDonald's All-American game's first round of practices in Louisville.

Oklahoma State signee James Anderson finished off an outstanding high school career in spectacular fashion in leading his Junction City High School team to the Arkansas Class 2A state championship. The 6-6 Anderson was named the game's MVP after scoring 43 points in leading Junction City to a 68-35 victory over Jessieville on Thursday night in Hot Springs, Ark.
