Chambers' recruiting story contains just one chapter, and a short one at that. Chambers visited U-M for the February, 2006 Michigan Junior Day. Soon after that he was offered a Michigan scholarship -- and he committed on the spot to the Wolverines.

One of Michigan's first commitments in the class of 2007 was R. Nelson Snider High School's Artis Chambers. This year's summer camp provided him with one of his first opportunities to work with the staff and some of his future Wolverine teammates. GoBlueWolverine caught up with him so he could recap his experience.

The newest Michigan Wolverine had a childhood dream to play for the Maize and Blue. On Junior Day that dream became a possibility for Artis Chambers when U-M head coach Lloyd Carr extended a scholarship offer. Shortly after the dream became reality when he called Carr and committed.
