The Red Raiders have a new starter at running back. Aaron Crawford officially took over the starting job against Colorado over a week ago, but last Saturday against Baylor was the first time he was featured in the offense and he made his presence known with 4 touchdowns. Behind the scenes though, Crawford put in a lot of work all season long to get to where he is at now.

RB Aaron Crawford had his work cut out for him. Last year several schools stopped recruiting him because they didn't believe he was going to qualify to play college football out of high school. Aaron Crawford is a solid running back who has seen his recruiting interest ebb and flow with certain schools. He is a very talented back who is talking with a few different levels of programs. Last weekend he was in Lubbock to check out the Red Raiders for an official visit.

One of the top running back prospects in the state of Tennessee is Memphis area product Aaron Crawford. Aaron shot out of the gate with a pair of early SEC offers. Somewhere along the way Crawford's recruitment hit a snag. Aaron has worked hard to make himself more recruitable. As a result of his hard work, Crawford will take official visit number one this weekend.

Aaron Crawford rushed for over 2,200 yards as a junior. The talented game changing back came into his senior season as a favorite for Tennessee's Mr. Football awards. Despite playing through a nagging injury, Crawford was still able to take home the hardware.
