For all the many, many Beavers coming back from surgery, getting dinged up in the offseason and fall camp, the one bright spot had been the o-line – they had somehow for the most part avoided the injury bug. CORVALLIS -- Day 11 of spring football brought more cold weather, more injuries, and more big passes to what's left of the receiving corps on the Oregon State football team. Meanwhile, Markus Wheaton is looking like he's ready to make big plays on special teams and beyond this upcoming season.

CORVALLIS -- Other than a slight wind chill, you couldn't have asked for a better day in Corvallis for the first spring ball scrimmage – unless you were the Beaver offense. Indeed, it was the OSU defense who owned the day with four interceptions and a variety of huge hits.
