Sometimes you just need a fresh start in life. That's what Aaron Douglas got when he walked away from the Tennessee Volunteer football program in the spring of 2010 and joined Head Coach Tom Minnick at Arizona Western College. This season he helped Minnink and the Matadors to a 10-2 record and a spot in the C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl.

Aaron Douglas won Mr. Football Lineman of the Year for Maryville High School after the 2007 season. He was rated a four-star tight end, but the 6-foot-6 athlete added 50-pounds to his frame and became an offensive tackle. He spent a year at Tennessee earning freshman All-American honors, but he left Knoxville. Douglas talked in-depth about his decision to move to T-town.

Mid-term junior college graduates can sign beginning Wednesday and Arkansas is hoping that Arizona Western College offensive lineman and musician Aaron Douglas (6-6, 280), who had an "awesome" visit to Fayetteville last weekend, will choose the Razorbacks over Alabama, USC and Oregon.
