Linebacker Jared Glover of Bixby, Okla., was one of several recruits that made an official visit this weekend to Oklahoma State having already committed, but according to the 6-4 1/2, 220-pound All-Stater and All-American it was a good as he expected, and in some areas even better.

Standout linebacker and tight end Jared Glover of Bixby, Okla., changed his commitment this morning from Nebraska to Oklahoma State. The 6-4 1/2, 220-pounder called Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy and assistant Todd Bradford Monday morning to tell them of his decision.

This was a big recruiting weekend for Nebraska and it just got bigger. Nebraska was hosting at least six official visitors this weekend made up of four, four-star and two, three-star recruits. Out of those six though, one four-star recruit was the first to pull the trigger on his commitment to Nebraska this weekend.

One of the top prospects in the Midwest is undoubtedly Jared Glover. He has a size and speed combination that is very rare. He has the ability to either come in and play linebacker immediately or grow into playing defensive end or even tight end potentially. His abilities and talents are obvious and he is going to check out a Big 12 team this weekend.
