It's not often that a FBS program will miss a projected slot receiver who barely accumulated 250 yards as a true freshman. Half way into the 2009 season though, it's become apparent that the loss of A.J. Guyton last year was devastating for the UCF Knights.

Last year was not a very good year for UCF football. Besides having a losing record (4-8, 3-5 C-USA) and an offense that struggled, the Knights were overwhelmed by injuries. Thankfully, many of the players that the team believes will be key contributors are healthy again. Some of the big names that are returning this year are Corey Rabazinski, Cory Hogue, Rocky Ross, and A.J. Guyton.

There's been a string of coughs, sniffles and all kinds of other sinus problems going around UCF for the past month or so. Yes the drastic weather change has caused students all around campus to come down with acute coryza, and while everyone is hoping they don't get sick, there are some player's on the football team that are hoping to catch more than just a cold.
