Mississippi State defensive coordinator Manny Diaz, going into the spring, was looking for some playmakers to insert into his attacking style scheme. During Saturday's spring game, he may have found some as a few players took full advantage of the extra reps and made a name for themselves.
There was no catwalk in sight, but the ladyfolk in attendance didn't mind. They'd come to see some Dogs strut in their new-for-2009 togs, and Jamie Jones clearly enjoyed taking his turns. Though he jokes it would have been more fun to have a few bills tossed his direction. "I was thinking it might happen, my pockets are kind of short! But it didn't."
