Sometimes you can just see it in their faces. And that was the case today in the locker room when I met new Saints defensive end pass rushing specialist Chris McCain. Faced with a no-win situation in Miami, McCain was absolutely overjoyed this afternoon when talking about this opportunity Sean Payton and the front office gave him to make this team. My favorite part is his beaming about the opportunity to play with one of his idols, Drew Brees. The happiness in McCain's face is priceless...

The New Orleans Saints lackluster offensive line play thus far has been the featured story this preseason, but for the last two seasons, the lack of a consistent pass rush has been one of the team's main concerns. Now that former Lions & Rams defensive tackle Nick Fairley is a member of the New Orleans Saints, the team now boasts three 1st round picks from the Draft Class of 2011. The other two Saints members of that heralded class include defensive end Cameron Jordan and running back Mark Ingram. Here's Drew Brees talking about the value of both players to the franchise; however, he expounds much more on his offensive backfield mate, Ingram. It's an interesting insight from the Saints star player.
