Dennison Leads UW Seniors into Last Apple Cup

This Saturday's Apple Cup at the Clink will be the last game for my favorite Husky, Cort Dennison, and rest of this year's graduating seniors. They get to go "downtown" and host their biggest rival, the Washington State Cougars, and if any group of Huskies ever deserves to go out with one last win, it's this group.

Monday Practice Report

For those that went out to see Washington's Saturday night practice, there was more of the same Monday evening, as Steve Sarkisian wanted to go back and put the team through another extended period of scrimmage play, complete with tackling, drives, officials, yard-markers, and roughly 150-200 fans in the stands at Husky Stadium.

Receiver Might Be UW's Deepest Position

One of the things that stands out most about this year's Husky team is they simply have better overall depth. There are only 105 players allowed by NCAA rules until after you play your first game or whenever your school year starts. Washington will probably add 4-6 players after the Eastern Washington game, and that will leave them with the smallest roster of all four Northwest Pac-12 schools.
