Synopsis: The team that won 101 games in the Midwest League now takes its talent to the California League, the San Diego Padres High-A affiliate. At the plate look for a big year from Jaff Decker and improved seasons from Blake Tekotte, Allan Dykstra and Drew Cumberland. On the mound Chris Fetter and Jorge Reyes have the talent to move through the system quickly.

Peoria, AZ: The San Diego Padres Double-A squad was pummeled 8-3 as normally stellar pitchers were getting hit hard. Only one hit produced runs. Staying behind from Tucson, Cesar Carrillo and John Garland threw bullpens on a day that saw very little outdoor activity outside of the game. The High-A saw some quality pitching on the road.

Peoria, AZ: Two come from behind wins from the San Diego Padres Double-A and Triple-A squads highlighted a spirited day of action against the Texas Rangers. The Double-A Squad held a perfect game through six and the Triple-A squad scored five runs in the ninth.
