OREGON STATE's DEPTH on the d-line is a little thinner today. Junior defensive tackle Tonu Tuimalealiifano and senior defensive end Mitchel Hunt were deemed physically unable to perform because of continuing injury problems with their knees and have ended their football careers.

CORVALLIS -- James Rodgers was back in action on Saturday. The morning session also saw some sharp-looking play play from the Oregon State linebackers. Coach Danny Langsdorf broke out his best John Olerud impersonation. Oh, and there were also incredible amounts of football on Day 6 of the Beavs' fall camp.

BETTER PRIME THE PUMP, because the prep football pipeline to Oregon State out of the talent rich state of Hawaii just keeps on flowing. The Beavers hosted a d-line prospect from The Islands this weekend in Corvallis and the young man from Honolulu -- a recruit his high school coach calls a real asset and team leader -- will ink his LOI to Oregon State on Wednesday.
